With roots dating back to 1878, Sun Enterprises Ltd is the tanker management company of the Group, while Alios Bulkers Ltd is the management company for the dry cargo fleet. The Group currently manages a modern fleet of 23 vessels and owns two more vessels chartered bareboat.
Since 1948 the Group has placed more than 110 new building contracts with top quality shipyards around the globe. Every tanker in the Group has been completely negotiated, specified and constructed under the direct supervision of Sun Enterprises

First shipowner ever to place an order at Hyundai Heavy Industries, for two VLCCs, Hull Nos. 1 & 2

Delivery of M/T Chios, the Group’s first double hulled VLCC

M/T Chios rescues 117 passengers from the M/S Achille Lauro
1999
Delivery of M/T Amazon Guardian, a 40m beam post-panamax product carrier, uniquely designed for the Group by HHI

Entire tanker fleet double-hulled

100th New Building Delivered, the M/T Amazon Victory

M/T Christina saves 27 refugees from a boat sinking in the Aegean Sea, Master wins the Lloyd’s List Greek Shipping Awards Captain of the Year award
